Mary Jo Matsumoto is a fashion designer whose luxury products include handbags, fine jewelry, and couture separates, dresses, and gowns. Her designs have been worn by Angelina Jolie, Robin Wright Penn, Joan Rivers, and Mary Hart, and have also appeared on Oprah, Extra, and the Oscars. The Mary Jo Matsumoto line has been sold at Fred Segal, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Takashimaya, Henri Bendel, The Four Seasons, The Ritz Carleton, The Rockefeller Hotel Group, and many other fine boutiques and resorts worldwide.

Mary Jo writes a nationally syndicated style blog, www.trustyourstyle.com, whose content is available for feeds that include The New York Times, CNN Money.com, Lexis Nexis, NewsBank, EBSCO, Kindle and others. She has been the Beauty/Fashion editor at Affluent Magazine for the past six years. A former Fashion/Beauty editor at SheKnows.com, she has also written columns for Diet & Fitness Magazine and is frequently interviewed for her fashion and beauty expertise by publications such as U.S. News & World Reports, Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan Style, Women's Health, Women's World, The National Examiner, First For Women, Pursuit in South Africa and many other newspapers around the world.

She has served as a consultant for Dove's online beauty campaign and spokesperson for Aveeno Natural Skin Care, and is a founding board member of Forget Yourself, a non-profit founded by UNICEF ambassador Agnes Chan. Mary Jo earned her MFA at New York University in Film, a double Bachelor's Degree in Film and Rhetoric with Highest Honors at the University of California at Berkeley, and she attended Parsons School of Painting in Florence, Italy.
