Mary Jo Matsumoto is a fashion designer whose luxury products include handbags, fine jewelry, home furnishings, and couture separates, dresses, and gowns. Her designs have been worn by Angelina Jolie, Robin Wright Penn, Joan Rivers, and Mary Hart, and have also appeared on Oprah, Extra, the Oscars, and Talk Soap with Lisa Rinna. The Mary Jo Matsumoto line has been sold at Fred Segal, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Takashimaya, Henri Bendel, The Four Seasons, The Ritz Carleton, The Rockefeller Hotel Group, and many other fine boutiques and resorts worldwide.

Mary Jo writes a nationally syndicated style blog, www.trustyourstyle.com, whose content is available for feeds that include The New York Times, CNN Money.com, Lexis Nexis, NewsBank, EBSCO, CanWest Mediaworks, Kindle and others. She has been the Beauty/Fashion editor at Affluent Magazine for the past four years. Mary Jo was a former Fashion/Beauty editor at SheKnows.com and has also written columns for Diet & Fitness Magazine. She is frequently interviewed for her fashion and beauty expertise by publications such as U.S. News & World Reports, Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan Style, Women's Health, Women's World, The National Examiner, First For Women, Pursuit in South Africa and many other newspapers around the world.

A former consultant for Dove's online beauty campaign and spokesperson for Aveeno Natural Skin Care, Mary Jo also served as a founding board member of Forget Yourself, a non-profit founded by UNICEF ambassador Agnes Chan.

Mary Jo graduated from the University of California and studied in Florence, Italy at Studio Arts Center International. She received her MFA from New York University.
